Sony 4K Ultra HD!!

I know I know…technically Sony 55-Inch 4K Ultra HD 120Hz 3D LED UHDTV is not a gaming monitor…but for the love god…4k resolution?!?!
I don’t care if it’s the queen of England’s toilet…with 4k res I am plugging my gaming pc into it!! Here is some of the official stats!! This is straight from Sony’s Website…

“See more on TV than ever before with over 8 million individual pixels (3,840 x 2,160) compared to about 2 million (1,920 x 1,080) on your current HDTV1. Advanced picture processing also ensures that every single pixel displays images with superb brightness and authentic detail. It’s the highest resolution picture Sony has ever produced on a TV.”

So What about gaming?

This “Monitor” has a 120hz refresh rate for a crisp clear gaming experience!! But wait, there’s more…have you ever heard of SimulView™ gaming? This is straight from the sony sight as well…

“Say goodbye to split screen. Now you and a friend can both experience your own big-screen view of the action as you go head-to-head in games like Call of Duty®: Black Ops II. SimulView™ gaming presents 2 different full screen pictures at once, making it so each player sees only their unique point of view across the entire screen while wearing light, comfortable glasses that don’t need batteries. There’s already a growing collection of fun-filled PS®3 games with SimulView technology3.”

I know I know…
Nobody with a gaming PC cares about two player games…or split screen two player games to be exact. Well… most of us have consoles too… and this might be the best two player gaming experience in the world! I would say that the single player mode with 4000 resolution would be enough to make a pc gamer do cartwheels….

More Details

The Sony 55-Inch 4K Ultra HD 120Hz 3D LED UHDTV comes in three flavors as of right now…
The Sony 55-Inch 4K Ultra HD 120Hz 3D LED UHDTV sounds like it will be the best resolution out of all the ultra high def gaming tv’s offered by sony right now.
The Sony 65-Inch 120Hz 3D LED 4K Ultra HDTV is surly impressive as well, but you should remember that it is the same number of pixels on the screen spread out 10 more inches. Might not seem like that big of a deal but after viewing 1080 on a 24″ gaming monitor, then viewing 1080 on a 27″ or 30″ monitor…well lets just say it leaves a bad tast in your mouth.
Then finally we have the Sony 84-Inch 4K Ultra HD 3D LED UHDTV. This is…well I have no words.
